Quality of water is the major problem In the coastal areas. Electrical conductivity is one of the major parameters to determine the quality of water. Though the saline water ingress in the aquifer is the common fact in the coastal areas, distance of surface water bodies like rivers, channels and sea has great influence on groundwater quality.
